Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time, non-exempt work in the field. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating various tools, and maintaining equipment under diverse weather conditions.

Employees may work at heights, load and unload materials, and assist in training new staff. A driver’s license is preferred, and a pre-employment screen may be required. The company offers competitive hourly pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding work.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand–eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains tools and equipment.
