Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber for full-time on-site work in the field. The role involves trimming/removing trees, operating and maintaining equipment, and processing debris with a woodchipper.

You will also assist in protecting workers and the public by setting up barriers and following safety protocols. Ideal candidates are able to handle physically demanding tasks, work at heights, and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
• Sets up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and the public.
