Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber. This full-time, non-exempt role trims and removes trees, operates and services tools, and works from ladders or poles at various heights in challenging conditions.

Safety is a priority as you coordinate with the crew and the public. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, feeding debris into a woodchipper, setting up barriers, and assisting in training new employees.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to walk, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, and trunks.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Sets up barriers, safety signs, and traffic control.
• Keeps work areas clean and ensures safety of employees and the public.
• Assists in training new employees.
