Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for powerlines. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay and a benefit package dependent on tenure and location.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, handling debris, directing traffic, and ensuring safety for staff and the public. The position requires 18+ years, no fear of heights, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to walk, climb and work from ladders in variable weather.
• Willing to join local union and pay dues.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Feeds brush & debris into woodchipper.
• Relays hand-signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks as needed.
• Keeps trucks and work area clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
