Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Barberton, OH, is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required). This full-time, non-exempt role trims, tops, and reshapes trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines and to maintain safe access for crews.

Responsibilities include operating and servicing tools, loading debris, coordinating with customers and traffic control, and ensuring safe work conditions in all weather. Must be 18+, no fear of heights, and able to work on ladders and uneven surfaces.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders and uneven surfaces in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Relays hand-signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintains good housekeeping on truck and at job sites.
