Job summary

Master Lawn is seeking a Tree and Shrub Technician to perform fertilization, weed control, and pest/disease treatments for trees and shrubs. The role includes assess- ments, service recommendations, and strong customer communication in a safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities also cover equipment maintenance, documentation via mobile tools, and teamwork to ensure quality service. Outdoor work, driving a company vehicle, and a Monday–Friday schedule with peak-season overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; horticulture/landscaping training a plus.
• Experience in tree/shrub or lawn care preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with ornamental plant ID, common pests and diseases, and pesticide application is an advantage.
• Must obtain commercial pesticide applicator certification in Ornamental and Turf for the state within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform fertilization, weed control, and insect and disease control treatments on trees, shrubs, and beds.
• Measure and mix products accurately, adhering to label directions and safety standards.
• Conduct assessments of trees, shrubs, and beds to identify issues and recommend additional services.
• Communicate with customers about services performed and answer questions.
