Job summary

Lush Lawn in Rochester Hills, MI is seeking a Tree Care Technician to service residential and commercial properties. You will work independently in a company vehicle, applying treatments to trees, shrubs, and landscapes while maintaining records and communicating with the office.

The role requires delivering expert tree care, educating customers, and handling territory management. On-the-job training is provided; outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving background.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Applies herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide to trees/shrubs/landscape according to state regulations.
• Evaluate trees/shrubs on each visit and diagnose disease or issues.
• Keep detailed notes about every visit.
• Communicate with office about field issues.
• Educate customers on best practices, products used, and results.
• Maintain designated route and territory and update customers.
• Safely operate company equipment and maintain vehicles.
• Drive non-CDL vehicles and load/unload equipment and materials.
• Drive company vehicles and operate assigned equipment.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
