Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, enforce safety protocols, and mentor employees and contractors in the field.

Responsibilities include training, performance reporting, customer communication, and ensuring compliance with OSHA. A CDL and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required; travel for storm work is expected.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Must be able to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving/interpreting orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per company policy and OSHA guidelines and conducts safety training.
• Discusses with property owners/customers issues such as access, power interruption, work to be done, and responsibility for property damage; refers to General Foreperson as needed.
• Promotes good customer/public relations through effective completion of assigned work and employee conduct.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of resources.
