We seek a passionate Crew Leader to guide tree care crews, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities include directing tasks, training crew, coordinating with clients, and maintaining equipment, while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years industry experience in residential tree care with ability to train/direct crew members.
• Knowledge of native and introduced tree and shrub species.
• Knowledge of tree biomechanics and rigging techniques.
• Knowledge of pruning practices for large trees and ornamentals.
• Knowledge of chain saw safety and operation.
• Adept in tree climbing techniques and bucket truck operation.
• Knowledge of ANSI A300 and safety standards.
• Quality workmanship and customer care attitude.
• Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct crew in performance of work; assign tasks.
• Supervise workmanship to meet specifications.
• Walk job site with arborist; develop work plan.
• Ensure PPE use and safety practices.
• Manage time, equipment, and materials for efficiency.
• Direct cleanup and secure equipment on trucks.
• Communicate with client to ensure satisfaction.
• Reorder materials for trucks/equipment.
• Follow safety and training policies; maintain safe environment.
• Ensure maintenance checks on equipment are followed.
• Train crews on safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in all job site safety briefings.
• Demonstrate climbing, pruning, and rigging techniques.
• Operate all equipment safely.
