Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team in Indianapolis. You will work outdoors, visit properties, and perform climbing and pruning duties using safe, efficient techniques.

Typical responsibilities include pruning, removals, cable bracing, safely operating climbing gear and saws, applying proper pruning techniques, and following safety procedures. This is a physically active role emphasizing safety, teamwork, and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• A desire to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in tree climbing, pruning techniques, identifying native and introduced tree and shrub species, tree care safety standards, and chainsaw operation.

Responsibilities

• Pruning, removals, and cable bracing as part of a crew.
• Safely operating climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment.
• Applying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Following safety procedures at all times.
• Delivering excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards.
