SavATree in New Jersey invites applicants to join our General Tree Care Team as a Tree Climber in Training. You’ll work outdoors on client landscapes, perform climbing and pruning tasks, and learn safe, efficient techniques under experienced guidance.

This physically active role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high-quality service. Compensation ranges $25–$35 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to advance within the arboriculture industry.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working outdoors
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean DMV record
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn climbing, pruning, and safety practices
• Commitment to safety and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in providing high-quality tree care (pruning, removals, cable bracing)
• Safely use climbing gear, chainsaws, and related equipment
• Apply proper pruning techniques and tree-care practices
• Follow safety procedures at all times
• Deliver excellent client service and maintain professional standards
