Job summary

SavATree is hiring a Tree Climber in Training to support the General Tree Care Team. You’ll work outdoors, visit client properties, and perform climbing and pruning duties using safe techniques with a focus on preservation and care.

You will learn and apply proper pruning methods, identify tree species, and operate chainsaw equipment while adhering to safety standards and delivering excellent client service in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Motivated to work outdoors in a physically active role.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to learn tree climbing, pruning, species identification, safety standards, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing.
• Safely operating climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment.
• Applying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices.
• Following safety procedures at all times.
• Delivering excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards.
