Job summary

Juniper Landscaping in Naples, FL is seeking climbing arborists for our Tree Care teams to perform aerial canopy work, including pruning, cabling and bracing, in urban and residential settings.

Qualifications

• Previous tree climbing experience and pruning knowledge preferred.
• Strong focus on safety.
• Competent with tree care equipment.
• Self-motivated and leadership qualities.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Able to work long periods outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Able to bend, stoop and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must use hand tools and power equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform canopy work on trees using ropes, ladders, bucket trucks and other aerial devices.
• Work with a small team to follow project specifications.
• Communicate with the Arbor Manager to ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain high safety procedures and awareness at all times.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order and properly maintained for operations.
• Use hand tools, power tools and equipment to perform tree care duties.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Our Climbing Arborists perform aerial work on the canopy of trees including pruning, cabling, and bracing to help preserve and care for trees in urban and residential areas. Juniper’s Climbing Arborists ensure job site tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and with our quality standards in mind.

Responsibilities

• Performing work on the canopy of trees using ropes, ladders, bucket trucks, and other aerial devices
• Working with a small team to ensure tree care projects follow specifications
• Communicating with the Arbor Manager to ensure client satisfaction
• Maintaining a high level of focus on safety procedures and safety awareness
• Ensuring equipment is in working order and properly maintained for safe operations
