Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic Climbing Arborist for our Spring Valley, NY area. This on-site role involves climbing and performing tree pruning, removal, and safety improvements for clients, using DdRT/MRS and SRT/SRS systems and wearing all required PPE.

Responsibilities include working with a crew, elevating trees, installing cables, bracing, and removing hazardous trees while maintaining equipment and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.

Position Overview

Trimand removetrees, remove unwanted,diseased or dying limbs on trees, or to affect the health and safety of trees or surrounding areasby performing the following duties.

Compensation

$25-$30 Hourly (Based on experience and certifications)

What You’ll Do:
