Job Description

Are you looking for a place where you can thrive? The General Tree Care Team is essential to our operations, working together to deliver high-quality tree care that maintains the health of our clients' landscapes.

As a Tree Climber, you will work outdoors on beautiful properties, applying your climbing, pruning, and safety expertise to support the health of each landscape.

This position offers a pay range of $25 - $35 per hour, depending on experience, along with paid PTO, benefits, and a 401K plan.

What a Day Looks Like

Working with a team, you'll perform pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks, operating equipment safely and providing excellent service to clients.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience with pruning large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify various tree and shrub species and understand their characteristics
• Climb without spurs
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards
• Practical skills in chainsaw and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks)
• Understanding of safety policies, hazard identification, and proper pruning techniques
• Proficiency in using climbing equipment and tools

Minimum Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of tree climbing experience
• Desire to work outdoors
• Valid U.S. driver's license; CDL A/B a plus or willingness to obtain
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
