Experienced Tree Climber

As our company grows and our reputation expands, so do the opportunities to join our well-experienced, talented, and professional team as we expand into Indianapolis, Indiana.

As an experienced Tree Climber with us, you'll be an integral part of a 2 to 4-person tree crew, involved in tasks like tree removal, pruning, and preservation. This role is crucial for ensuring safe operations, maintaining equipment, and effective communication with the crew and clients.

What a Tree Climber does:

• Communicates effectively with the crew
• Maintains a professional image
• Delivers excellent customer service
• Delegates work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Takes care of the vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follows company safety culture and ANSI standards
• Understands and follows aerial lift operations
• Works at least 40 hours per week

What a Tree Climber must have:

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of tree climbing experience
• Valid driver's license
• Proven experience in tree care, trimming, and climbing
• Proficient in operating bucket trucks and using rigging equipment

The BEST candidate for a Tree Climber:

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist preferred
