The Urban Foresters in Austin, TX seeks a Tree Care Technician: Foreman (Levels 1–4) to lead a three-person crew on active climbing projects, ensuring arboricultural excellence and safety leadership.

This role requires physical endurance, a Texas Driver's License, and willingness to obtain EHAP and First Aid/CPR certifications; bilingual communication is valued to bridge management and Spanish-speaking crew.

Qualifications

• Physical: Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift 75+ lbs.
• Credentials: Valid Texas Driver’s License (Class C a plus).
• Safety: Willingness to obtain EHAP (Electrical Hazards Awareness Program) and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Leadership: Proven capacity to lead, teach, and motivate a team of 3–5+ workers.
• Technical: Advanced proficiency in climbing (SRT/DdRT) and rigging.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Tree Care Technician: Foreman (Levels 1–4)

Location: The Urban Foresters, Austin, TX Branch
Department: Production
Reports To: Production Manager

Role Objective

The Foreman is the primary leader of the three-person crew. This is an active climbing role responsible for the developmental, technical, and safety leadership of the team. The Foreman ensures that every job is executed to the highest arboricultural standards while actively mentoring crew members.

Core Responsibilities (All Levels)
