Job summary

Savatree is seeking a General Tree Care team member to support our field operations and deliver high-quality services that preserve and enhance clients’ landscapes. A typical day includes pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and other essential tasks on diverse properties, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will operate chainsaws and specialized gear, apply pruning techniques, and learn proper safety protocols while growing your arboriculture skills in a hands-on outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Desire to work outdoors and develop tree care skills.
• Willingness to learn climbing without spurs and pruning techniques.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with crew to perform pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and other tree care tasks.
• Operate chainsaws, rigging, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply climbing and pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety.
• Provide excellent service to clients while working on various properties.
• Learn and apply safety protocols and industry best practices.
