Job summary

SavATree seeks a Groundsperson to work outdoors on a General Tree Care crew, performing pruning, removals, and cable bracing while safely operating equipment and serving clients’ landscapes.

You will visit properties in the community, apply climbing and pruning expertise, and uphold safety standards as a frontline member of the Tree Care team. Relocation assistance available for openings across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and know their characteristics.
• Experience with tree care safety standards and equipment operation (chainsaw, bucket truck).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality tree care on the General Tree Care crew, including pruning, removals, cable bracing and related tasks.
• Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned job tasks while delivering excellent service to clients.
• Visit client properties and support on outside projects as part of the Tree Care team.
