Job summary

SPERBERLA is seeking a full-time, non-exempt tree care helper to support daily operations. You will assist crew members, control lowering ropes, and supply tools for tree workers while helping manage traffic and safety on job sites.

You will drive and operate equipment, perform cleanup, and maintain tools such as hand tools, chainsaws and chippers. Customer service and teamwork are essential in this outdoor role.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees and managers.
• Good interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information through observation and questioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist Trimmers and Foreman as needed.
• Control lowering ropes and supply tools for tree workers.
• Manage road and sidewalk traffic using warning devices as required.
• Operate tree care equipment including spray and tow chipper.
• Perform proper job site cleanup and maintain equipment.
