Job summary

Tree Guardians is seeking a motivated Groundsman to support our tree care operations. This role involves ground-level tasks, equipment handling, and job site cleanup, contributing to safety and efficiency on every site.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree care, landscaping, or outdoor labor preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Safety-focused and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage tools and supplies for the crew.
• Operate chainsaws, woodchippers, and stump grinders.
• Manage ropes and rigging during tree removal and pruning.
• Clear brush, logs, and debris from job sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on tools.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area per ANSI/OSHA standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
