Job summary

Grade A Tree Care Llc is seeking a dependable Groundsman to support our tree crews with daily operations, including brush cleanup, equipment operation, job site safety, and assisting climbers and crew leaders.

Responsibilities include dragging brush to the chipper, operating wood chippers and saws, rigging and lowering limbs, loading gear, and keeping sites clean and safe while adhering to company safety procedures. Training provided and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drag brush and debris to chipper during tree operations.
• Operate wood chippers, chainsaws, leaf blowers safely.
• Assist with rigging, lowering limbs, and maintaining safe zones.
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials.
• Perform general job-site cleanup and leave properties in excellent condition.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Support crew leaders and climbers as needed.
