Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Crew Leader in Tree Care to lead daily operations, supervise climbers and grounds crew, and ensure safety and quality in pruning, bracing, and removals.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, inspecting gear, and maintaining equipment while upholding BrightView safety standards in a dynamic outdoor environment. CDL-B required; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in tree care services.
• Familiarity with techniques and equipment used in landscaping.
• CDL Class B license required.
• Experience managing a crew of climbers and grounds men.
• Supervisory experience.
• Ability to become certified in EHAP, First-Aid, and CPR.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the tree care service activities of the crew.
• Ensure crew members have safety materials and training and operate safely.
• Keep work areas under and around trees clear and properly marked for public protection.
• Inspect and maintain climbing gear and equipment for safety.
• Review and manage crew schedules.
• Complete daily pre-trip inspection reports for Class B equipment.
• Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees.
• Safely operate tree & landscaping tools and heavy equipment as needed.
• Utilize proper pruning techniques and assist with trimming and debris disposal.
