Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader to guide a field crew and ensure safe, efficient completion of tree trimming and chemical applications. You will allocate tasks, coach workers, and coordinate access with property owners.

The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and knowledge of ANSI standards, with the ability to work near energized lines and heavy equipment. Expect variable hours including storm work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience on tree trimming or clearing crews (or completed skills assessments).
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• First-Aid and CPR certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coach crew on safety policies, on-the-job practices, and OSHA regulations.
• Use herbicide equipment to treat stumps/brush and maintain records.
• Obtain owner permission for access and explain work to customers.
