Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking a Crew Lead for our Tree Care team in the Pineville, NC area. You will lead pruning, removals, and safety-focused work on outdoor properties, guiding a crew to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Ideal candidates have experience with pruning large trees, know species, handle chainsaws and aerial lifts, and demonstrate leadership and strong safety practices in all job tasks. CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and know their characteristics.
• Climbing without spurs and safe operation of equipment.
• Knowledge of tree care safety standards and Chainsaw operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket trucks) and lowering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead a General Tree Care crew to perform pruning, removals, cable bracing and related tasks.
• Safely operate equipment and ensure high-quality service for clients.
• Provide direction to the crew and uphold safety policies and procedures.
• Apply knowledge of pruning cuts, branch collars, and species-specific techniques.
