Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer Trainee for a full-time, non-exempt position. The role involves trimming and removing trees, operating tools, and maintaining safe, efficient worksites.

You will learn to service equipment, assist in training new hires, and keep trucks and work areas orderly while collaborating with customers and emergency responders as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Driver's License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Trim and/or remove trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cut and split large debris into manageable pieces.
• Spray areas with equipment to prevent growth.
• Load/unload trucks and feed brush into woodchipper.
• Repair minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers to protect employees and public.
• Cooperate with customers, police and fire departments when blocking streets or driveways.
• Assist in training new employees.
