Job summary

Virsono Hearing Centers in Poway, CA is seeking an Audiology Technician/Medical Assistant to support clinicians, manage patient flow, and operate our EMR system. You will assist with audiology tests and tele-audiology, while maintaining infection control and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires at least 2 years in a medical setting, Medical Assistant certification, EMR proficiency, and a willingness to pursue an AuD Tech distance program. Monday–Friday, on-site in Poway.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent; Certified Audiology Assistant a plus.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced medical clinic or similar setting.
• EMR proficiency required.
• Willingness to enroll in an AuD Tech distance program.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and infection control standards.
• Available Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, on-site in Poway, CA; able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; background check required.
