Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center (SRSTC) within the Department of Health Services (DHS) is hiring multiple full-time Treatment Specialists. As an employee of the State of Wisconsin, you'll have access to an amazing benefits package, including:
SRSTC provides treatment services to adult males who are civilly committed or are awaiting commitment under Wis. Stat. Ch. 980, are in the Competency Restoration program under Wis. State. Ch. 971.14 or are Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity or Mental Defect Wis. Stat. Ch. 971.17. In this role, you will assist with providing treatment to clients placed within the facility under Ch. 980 or Ch. 971. You’ll function as an active member of the primary treatment team and multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities include:
The starting pay is between $30.00 and $33.60 per hour (approximately between $62,400 and $69,800 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is classified as a Treatment Specialist 1 and is in pay schedule and range 12/64.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by SRSTC or medical personnel approved by the facility within 30 days of hire.
