Job summary

State of Wisconsin’s Department of Corrections, Division of Community Correction, is hiring two Treatment Specialist 1 roles in Region 2 (Sturtevant) and Region 4 (Appleton) to deliver substance use disorder programming.

You will conduct assessments, coordinate treatment plans, facilitate group and individual counseling, and liaise with regional staff. A SUD credential (SAC or CSAC) is required; probationary period and state benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementation and coordination of treatment programming addressing criminogenic needs.
• Knowledge of Substance Use Disorder programming and associated modules.
• Ability to facilitate group and individual counseling sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implement, evaluate, and coordinate SUD programming and assessments.
• Prepare group sessions and review practice work weekly.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Clinical Supervisor approval.
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with DCC staff.
