Minimum Qualifications
Training and Experience

Graduation from high school or equivalent and possess a Missouri Class "A" wastewater treatment operator's license.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical wastewater treatment plant equipment.
  • Considerable knowledge of safe working practices.
  • Ability to make accurate readings.
  • Ability to understand and record information on charts and meters.
  • Ability to lead and oversee the work of others.
  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
Special Requirement
  • Must possess and maintain a Missouri Class "A" wastewater treatment operator's license.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license by the state in which the employee resides.
  • Pursuant to MSD's "Substance Abuse Policy and Procedures," this position has been designated as safety sensitive, and candidate must pass a Non-D.O.T. Drug Test for this position. Employees occupying this position are not subject to Federal (D.O.T.) Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations
