Job summary

San Bernardino County’s Special Districts Department, Water and Sanitation Division, seeks experienced wastewater treatment professionals to join our team. You will oversee operations, coordinate maintenance, monitor processes, and help ensure regulatory compliance across the County’s facilities.

Requirements include California SWRCB Grade IV certification, at least two years of recent operation/maintenance experience, and a valid California Class C driver's license.

Qualifications

• California SWRCB Grade IV wastewater certification is required.
• Two years of recent wastewater operation/maintenance experience in the last five years.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license or higher.

In this role, you will help oversee wastewater treatment operations, coordinate maintenance projects, monitor treatment processes, and ensure regulatory compliance across the County’s water and wastewater facilities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current California SWRCB Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade IV certification.
• Two years of recent experience within the last five years in the operation, maintenance, and repair of a wastewater treatment facility.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license or higher.
