Job summary

Glenview Terrace is seeking a Treatment Nurse to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. You will perform skin treatments for our residents and help ensure they are comfortable and safe, while coordinating with physicians for treatment orders.

Must have an unencumbered State of Illinois RN license and CPR certification; three years RN/LPN SNF experience preferred. Schedule: Every Wednesday and every other Sunday.

Qualifications

• State of Illinois RN license and CPR certification are required.
• Three (3) years RN/LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin treatments for residents.
• Obtain treatment orders from physicians.
• Assist with developing treatment care plans.
• Perform resident assessments.
• Provide detailed charting and progress notes.

As a Treatment Nurse you are the backbone of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Glenview Terrace by performing skin treatments for our residents, obtaining treatment orders from physicians, assisting with developing treatment care plans, performing resident assessments and providing detailed charting and progress notes. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois RN license and C.P.R certification. Three (3) years of RN or LPN experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferred.
