Job summary

Franklin Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes and ensure compassionate, resident-centered care.

The role requires strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills; independence paired with teamwork. This full-time position supports ongoing staff education and continuity of care on the floor.

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments and skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions and skin concerns.
• Communicate care plans effectively with physicians and families.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments

• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns

• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans

• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing

• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
