Job summary

Five Points Nursing and Rehabilitation of Pflugerville is seeking a dedicated Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services. You will work with interdisciplinary teams to promote healing, comfort, and resident well-being.

In this role you will perform dressing changes, monitor healing, communicate with physicians and families, assess nutrition related to wound healing, review labs, and educate staff on wound protocols.

Qualifications

• Holds an active LVN or RN license in good standing with the state
• Experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred)
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Works independently and thrives in a team-centered environment
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding care plans
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments
