Job summary

Copperas-Hollow-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services within a collaborative care team.

You will perform dressing changes, monitor healing progress, communicate with physicians and families, and help educate staff while supporting uninterrupted resident care on the floor.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care and treatment procedures (preferred).
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Works independently and thrives in a team-centered environment.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing as needed to ensure continuity of care.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:
