Hill Country Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lampasas, TX seeks a compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services, working within an interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes. You will assess, document, and communicate care plans, and participate in staff education to support exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care and treatment procedures.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns.
• Communicate care plans with physicians and families.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.

We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our care team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality wound care and treatment services while working closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes. Success in this role requires clinical expertise, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.

Your Impact as a Treatment Nurse

In this role, you will:

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments

• Monitor and document healing progress of wounds, incisions, and skin concerns

• Communicate effectively with physicians and families regarding care plans

• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing

• Review lab results and respond to signs of infection

• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols
