Job summary

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia seeks a Treatment Engagement Specialist/Scheduler for our Adult Outpatient program in Dublin, GA. You will support clinical staff by scheduling appointments, updating treatment plans, and ensuring timely patient check-ins and referrals are processed.

Qualifications include High School Diploma or GED, valid Georgia driver's license, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse communities.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Office products.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answers/calls for MD clinic in a timely manner.
• Schedules appointments for C&A psychiatrists and enters appointments in Avatar Appointment Book.
• Updates notes as appointments are rescheduled and documents in EMR.
• Maintains consumer confidentiality at all times.
• Prints dashboards for next day’s appointments and initial MD visits.
• Ensures diagnosis screens are up to date and MD notes match diagnoses.
• Verifies medication consents are signed and attached in EMR.
• Follows up on no-shows within 24 hours to reschedule.
• Ensures MD clinic schedules and nursing appointments are full.
• Onboards new patients via referrals and coordinates treatments.
