Job summary

Smile Straight Orthodontics in Wilmington is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to educate patients, discuss options, and guide them toward care. This role focuses on building trust, explaining treatments and financing, and coordinating the patient journey from consultation to completion.

As part of Kids Dental Brands, you’ll join a supportive, patient-focused team. The office emphasizes a modern, kid-friendly environment with a strong culture of collaboration and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of dental, healthcare, or treatment coordination experience preferred.
• 1+ years of sales, patient advocacy, or relationship-focused customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through their treatment journey from consultation to completion.
• Present and explain treatment recommendations, procedures, and associated costs.
• Help patients understand insurance benefits, financing options, and payment arrangements.
• Build trust and strong patient relationships through exceptional service and communication.
• Follow up with patients regarding recommended treatment and next steps.
• Coordinate appointments and support an efficient patient experience.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and the clinical team.
• Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support a welcoming, professional, and patient-focused office environment.
