Job description

We are an elite oral surgery practice committed to exceptional patient care and first-class service for referring doctors. We seek a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player to help grow our practice and serve the community's oral surgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required.

The role of the Treatment Coordinator is vital in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes, and meeting patient needs.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, provide cost estimates, and collect patient financial responsibilities.
  • Manage the doctors' schedules and communicate with patients and referring offices.
  • Offer concierge-level customer service over the phone, in person, or electronically.
  • Update and maintain patient insurance information.
  • Ensure efficient use of the doctor's time by maintaining the schedule.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to enhance patient experience.
  • Adhere to deadlines and prioritize work based on patient schedules.
  • Collect payments professionally and effectively.
  • Understand doctor treatment recommendations and develop treatment plans.
  • Communicate treatment options and costs clearly to patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience required.
  • Medical or dental experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of dental terminology.
  • Friendly, professional, and inviting personality.
  • Proficiency in basic office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
