Primary Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients on their treatment plans and oral health importance
  • Present treatment options and obtain financial consent, including payment plans
  • Greet patients and families, making them feel welcome
  • Gather patient information, create files, and verify insurance
  • Manage schedules and appointments
  • Confirm and update patient appointments
  • Answer questions about insurance and finances
  • Collect and post payments from patients and insurance companies
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; degree or additional healthcare/business education preferred
  • At least two years’ experience in dental, healthcare, or service environment
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and benefits preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with dental software preferred
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
