Job summary

Malvern Health seeks a full-time Cook for our Willow Grove facility. The role covers food preparation, meal service for patients and staff, and maintaining kitchen sanitation. Shift hours span 6am to 6:30pm with a benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and 401K with company match.

Responsibilities include following recipes, monitoring quality and temperatures, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with health and CARF standards while delivering nutritious, well-presented meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; ServSafe certification preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities essential in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and snacks for patients and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and storage areas.
• Monitor temperature logs and ensure proper food temperatures.
• Assist with menu planning and daily meal prep for next day.
• Ensure compliance with health and CARF standards and dietary restrictions.
