Job summary

Burlington United Methodist Family Services, Inc. d/b/a Star of Hope Family Services in Keyser, WV is seeking a Residential Treatment Associate to support youth in a residential setting.

You will act as a positive role model, build relationships, and help youth follow treatment plans toward reunification and independence. Awake Night shifts available; the role offers meaningful work with comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to build relationships with youth and follow treatment plans.
• Must maintain safety and respond to crises with calm judgment.
• Willingness to participate in CPI/CPR and safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth
• Build meaningful relationships and understand each youth's treatment plan and goals
• Support daily routines, including hygiene, structure, and life skills
• Respond to emotional needs with empathy, guidance, and encouragement
• Manage crisis situations safely using trained intervention techniques
• Administer medications in accordance with protocols
• Document progress, incidents, and daily activities accurately
• Coordinate with therapists, supervisors, schools, and families
• Facilitate recreational, educational, and spiritual enrichment activities
