Job summary

Anthropic seeks a strategic Head of Treasury Strategy & Transformation to shape the company’s capital framework and cross-functional initiatives. You will lead the build-out of AI-enabled tooling, establish cash forecasting, and optimize bank relationships while steering M&A integrations with accountability.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in corporate treasury, exposure to in-house banks, and strong communication skills. This remote-friendly role requires travel to SF and other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Corporate Treasury across multiple disciplines.
• Experience designing or operating an in-house bank, a treasury center, or a comparable centralized treasury structure.
• Direct exposure to bank relationship management and bank fee analysis, including fee structures and service pricing.
• Treasury integration experience in a merger or acquisition.
• Experience at a company scaling quickly enough that Treasury's processes had to be rebuilt rather than refined.
• Hands-on proficiency with AI tools and process automation.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own complex cross-functional strategic initiatives for Treasury. Projects may include standing up an in-house bank, establishing a cash forecasting discipline, or supporting capital raises.
• Build Treasury's AI tooling. Use Claude to build dashboards and automations that make Treasury faster and more precise.
• Consolidate and optimize banking relationships. Create a single view of Treasury engagements with banking partners and identify optimization opportunities.
• Own Treasury's work integrating M&A acquisitions. Serve as primary contact for due diligence and integration work.
• Establish operating cadence to keep recurring obligations on time and accurate; ensure SOX and other requirements are met.
• Design and automate cross-functional deliverables; provide judgment behind dashboards and audit materials for CFO and committees.
