Job summary

Century Golf Partners Management is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support cash management, treasury operations, and accounting functions. This role monitors liquidity, supports banking activities, and ensures compliance with internal controls.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will participate in month-end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years in accounting, treasury, or finance.
• Experience with accounting software and/or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and maintain liquidity across company accounts.
• Process cash transfers, wire transactions, ACHs, and intercompany funding.
• Assist in month-end close, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies and internal controls.

Job description

Century Golf Partners Management is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support the organization's cash management, treasury operations, and accounting functions. This position plays a key role in monitoring liquidity, managing banking activities, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.

The Staff Accountant in Treasury reports directly to the Director of Finance and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash positions and maintain adequate liquidity across company accounts.
• Process and oversee cash transfers, wire transactions, ACH payments, and intercompany funding activities.
• Assist in optimizing cash concentration strategies and banking structures.
• Maintain and monitor bank account balances and transaction activity.
• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and established financial procedures.
• Perform daily accounting responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including:
• Bank reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Accruals and other account adjustments
• Analyze financial variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Support ongoing accounting functions and special projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.

Audit, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Provide documentation and support for annual financial audits.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting initiatives as needed.
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial data for management reporting.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of accounting, treasury, finance, or related experience.
• Experience with accounting software and/or ERP systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

• Competitive annual salary commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
• Starting salary range : $65,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and market factors.
• Eligibility for discretionary annual performance-based bonus, subject to company performance and individual contributions.
