At Securian Financial the internal position title is Treasury Sr Rep

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Treasury team as a Treasury Sr. Representative. In this role, you will support daily treasury operations by processing incoming payments, ensuring accurate allocation of funds, and communicating with internal business partners. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Previous treasury or finance experience is beneficial but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process incoming wire transfers and payments throughout the day, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Review and allocate incoming funds to the appropriate accounts or business units.
• Communicate with internal business partners to provide timely notification of received payments and resolve questions or discrepancies.
• Verify payment information and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Identify and research discrepancies, working with team members and business partners to resolve issues.
• Utilize internal systems and technology to support daily payment processing and treasury operations.
• Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure established deadlines are met.
• Support additional treasury-related activities and process improvements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

The estimated base pay range for this job is: $18.80 - $32.69 Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.

Hybrid working arrangement

This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement. Securian Financial believes that meaningful in-person collaboration is an important part of our culture.
