Job summary

Truist is seeking a Sales Analyst for Wholesale Payments in New Jersey. The role supports strategy, execution, risk, and performance functions for Treasury, Commercial Card, and Merchant services.

Your day-to-day includes planning with relationship teams, presenting during client calls, and delivering advisory materials. You will log activity, maintain pipelines, and help close deals while enabling smooth onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of Wholesale Payments experience.
• 3–5 years of Financial Services experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to balance short-term deliverables against long-term projects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Truist values focused on client first and teamwork.

• Develop and maintain partnerships across Wholesale Payments and Enterprise.
• Execute on Strategy, Sales, and Operational responsibilities for Treasury, Commercial Card, and Merchant.
• Collaborate with relationship teams on strategic portfolio planning.
• Schedule pre-call plans and participate in planning meetings.
• Take notes and lead client/prospect meetings as needed.
• Prepare advisory materials: discovery, pitches, demos, ROI analyses, business reviews.
• Log detailed call reports and maintain accurate sales pipelines.
• Support pricing proformas, contract documentation, and product demos during the sales cycle.
• Assist in smooth client onboarding and post-call debriefs.
• Pursue personal and career development plans and mentor peers.
