Job summary

Truist in McLean, Virginia is seeking a Sales Analyst to support Wholesale Payments strategy, execution, risk, and performance initiatives. You will partner with relationship teams to develop strategic portfolio plans, prepare pre-call materials, participate in client meetings, and document insights in Salesforce.

Responsibilities include pricing, RFPs, demos, onboarding, mentoring peers, and contributing to cross‑workstream projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• One to three year(s) of Wholesale Payments experience.
• Three to five years of Financial Services experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of adaptability and flexibility.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to balance short-term deliverables against long-term projects.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Software Products.
• Proven ability to work well in fast-paced, team-oriented environment and ability to adapt.
• Able to function effectively in role with less direction and more autonomy than Junior Analysts.

Responsibilities

• Support Wholesale Payments Sales strategy, execution, risk, and performance.
• Develop, maintain and execute on strategic portfolio planning with relationship team.
• Schedule pre-call plans, prepare planning materials and participate in meetings.
• Lead client meetings as notetaker, listener, closer or leader.
• Prepare advisory materials: Discovery, Pitch, Demos, Product, Working Capital Analyses, Financial Modeling, ROI analyses, Business Reviews.
• Schedule post-call debriefs and provide summaries and feedback.
• Maintain Salesforce call reports and accurate client information.
• Support pricing, proposals, RFP submissions, demos, and product understanding.
• Assist onboarding journey for clients.
• Define and execute personal and career development plans.
• Mentor peers and new teammates.
• Participate in various workstreams across Wholesale Payments.
