Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or closely related field with three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in fund accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cashiering, cash handling, and accounting to ensure accurate processing and balancing of revenue from various sources.
• Conducts title and legal description research on deeds and verifies ownership and delinquent taxes for recording.
• Manages animal license operations and coordinates licensing with local units and Humane Society.
• Prepares journal entries and allocates revenues to appropriate accounts.
• Maintains millage cards and assists in policy/process updates to improve efficiency.
