Job summary

Brighton Consulting Group is seeking a Treasury Representative in resident accounts management to process ACH and electronic payments accurately and on time. You will support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll through batch preparation, posting, and reconciliation.

The role requires exceptional accuracy, sound judgment, and adherence to procedures. Candidates should have strong Excel skills and daily interaction with clients and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Capable of working independently or in a team environment.
• Must be exceptionally detail oriented with high accuracy in financial transactions.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Communicate positively with clients and escalate issues when needed.
• Working knowledge of financial transactions, reconciliation, internal controls, and AR processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process authorized ACH and electronic payment transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare, validate, and process payment batches with correct totals and dates.
• Validate banking information and maintain accurate records.
• Post activity to resident/client accounts and reflect in AR system.
• Monitor ACH returns and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct independent reconciliation of transactions and bank activity.
• Maintain audit trails and processing documentation.
• Manage payment exceptions and account maintenance.
• Serve as a client and banking contact to resolve issues.
• Prepare and review payment and AR reports; flag anomalies.
• Follow client calendars, approvals, and security protocols.
• Cross-train to cover Claims and AR roles when needed.
