Job summary

Wellington Management invites a cooperative student to join Corporate Treasury. The role focuses on supporting daily cash reconciliation, forecasting, and reporting, with exposure to FX hedging, investing, and bank account management.

The position offers cross-training across Treasury functions. Start date in December 2026 or January 2027, for Northeastern University students eligible for the program.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel including basic formula functions, pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Confident with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Maturity due to confidential responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile cash accounts and project cash activity.
  • Assist with daily global cash positioning.
  • Maintain treasury operations files.
  • Assist in inquiries and investigations.
  • Deposit checks to bank as needed.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly cash position reports.
  • Attend monthly bank calls.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc reporting.

The Position

The Co-op within Corporate Treasury is responsible for supporting daily cash reconciliation and forecasting activity, management reporting, and other ad-hoc treasury projects as part of the firm’s internal cash management activities. The Co-op will work closely with all team members to provide assistance with the routine daily responsibilities and the weekly/monthly recurring activities related to cash management. Additionally, the Co-op will have exposure to many aspects of Corporate Treasury including foreign exchange hedging, investing, and bank account management.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile cash accounts and project cash activity
  • Assist with daily global cash positioning
  • Maintain treasury operations files
  • Assist in the resolution of inquiries and investigations
  • Deposit various checks to bank, as needed
  • Prepare the weekly/monthly cash position report
  • Attend monthly bank calls
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting

The base salary range for this position is: $19-$35 per hour. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process. Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
